Three new vessels have arrived at the dry dock of Iran Shipbuilding and Offshore Industries Complex (ISOICO) for repair, the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO Group) reported.
With the arrival of these three vessels, it is now the first time that nine vessels are simultaneously receiving repair services at ISOICO which is regarded as Iran’s largest shipyard.
Under tough sanctions, Iran has developed its capabilities in building and repair of vessels so as to cut reliance on foreign companies.
For the first time in Iran’s shipbuilding industry, ISOICO is providing repair services to nine vessels at the same time which is indicative of the company’s high capabilities.
