Iran’s Deputy Agriculture Minister Alireza Mohajer has emphasized the need for the development of trade and economic relations with neighboring Turkiye, particularly in the agriculture sector.
Mohajer made the remark as he hosted his Turkish counterpart Ebubekir Gizligider and his accompanying delegation on Monday.
The two sides hailed historic and deep relations between Iran and Turkiye, and discussed ways to expand mutual cooperation in the agriculture sector, including production of seeds as well as modern irrigation methods.
Water and climate change were other topics discussed at the meeting.
